KH4 being worked on will not delay FF7 Remake Part I have a feeling that FF7 Remake Parts 2 & 3 will be made only with the Unreal Engine 5, which means they'll only be available on PS5/Xbox Series X/PC. Mon 11th Apr FF7 Remake Part 2 is being worked on by an entirely different director + development team within Square-Enix.better graphics are not going to be enough this time. we'll see if they can give this franchise the overhaul it needs but i won't count on it.
other than nostalgia for nostalgia sake (if you have been there since the beginning) and the somewhat appealing character designs of the main cast, i do not understand what the apeal is and how this franchise has lasted as long as it has. i would go as far to say that the story in the kingdom hearts franchse is the most trite, convoluted drivel i have seen in any media. the story really is as bad as people say - makes no sense and has lost all meaning. after completing kh3 and feeling rather disappointed and underwhelemed by the lack of new ideas (not to mention it was too easy for its own good and became a button masher), i think i should move on.
we all know how mismanaged this company is so don't expect kh4 for at least 4-5 years. not since the ff7r has there been anything interesting from s-e. they have been on a downward spiral and need to appease the shareholders with some news that actually getnerates buzz. It’s worth noting that the Amazon exclusive Keyblade has specific perks towards Fire magic, PlayStation to Ice magic, and Xbox One to Thunder.I think this random announcement is damage control for all the negativity coming out of s-e these days. The obvious move here is to pre-order either directly through the console store or from Amazon to get the extra Keyblade. Square Enix Store: Sticker Set (Verdict: not worth it.).
